Qualery completes the expansion works of its Toledo factory, which has involved an investment of around 2 million euros.

As part of the project, the coffee roaster has been expanded and a new dairy production line has been created.

The Toledo company Qualery, specialized in the roasting of original coffee and in the manufacture and distribution of all types of soluble products for the vending, dispensing and community sectors, has just inaugurated its new industrial facilities in Val de Santo Domingo. With a total area of ​​5,250 square meters, the expansion project has involved an investment of around 2 million euros and is allowing the company's production capacity to be significantly increased, as well as innovating in terms of optimizing manufacturing processes, business strategies, and even energy efficiency.
 
“The Qualery expansion and remodeling project has been a major challenge for the company. Hard, yes, but also very rewarding. We had a blank canvas, and on it we have built an innovative, efficient and productive factory. In addition, we have committed to improving the industrial fabric in the city and generating employment in the area ”, highlights Saúl Álvarez, CEO of Qualery.
 
As part of the project, the coffee roaster has been expanded with new state-of-the-art machinery that is allowing production to triple. In addition, incorporating new technologies into a process as artisanal as coffee making is helping to optimize each of the roasting curves, always controlled by the figure of the 'master roaster'. A new dairy production line has also been designed and put into operation, which will translate into the production of more than 3,200 tons of powdered milk and milk preparations, quickly and flexibly meeting customer needs and being able to assume large production peaks without risks.
 
This transfer has also meant a significant improvement in terms of quality and food safety, which has become clear after the achievement of the improved ISO 22000: 2018, as well as a major modernization of all the facilities. With a marked 'vintage industrial' style, open spaces, large windows and being completely faithful to its corporate image, the new Qualery offices function not only as a link between the brand and its audiences, but also as a powerful sales tool that, in turn, it acts as a generator of trust with the brand. “Our maxim is transparency. If we want to have a transparent communication and relationship with our clients, the first thing is to apply it from within, at home, ”says Rocío García, Qualery's director of marketing and communication.
 
A showroom for experiential tastings, a large training auditorium, a bistro & bar or a trip in virtual reality to the coffee growing areas within this factory in Val de Santo Domingo, are just some of those innovations with which the company hopes not only to lead the soluble market nationwide, but to conquer the city of Toledo. “As Martin Luther King once said, faith is taking the first step, even when you don't see the whole ladder. And that's what we've done at Qualery; take a few steps into the void with the greatest illusion of all: to continue making our family, Qualery, a fresh, innovative company with a disruptive character within the coffee and soluble products sector ”, Álvarez clarifies.

In 2018, the production of the Toledo company was around 600 tons of coffee and 1,600 tons of dairy products, of which approximately 10% was sold internationally. As for the production of the rest of soluble, it was around 1,000,000 kilograms.
 
Qualery is aware of the latest trends, knows its consumers and the markets in which it operates, for this reason and coinciding with its expansion, the brand has launched new products and formats, among which stand out the cold strawberry and chocolate shakes. , vanilla and banana from its QualeryBlends range, individual envelopes of cocoa and instant milk for hotels and communities or the new specialty coffees in 250 g format for home sale. In fact, at the end of the year, the new Qualery online store, Qualery Shop, is scheduled to be launched, where the most exclusive coffees and products for home consumption can be purchased.
