Qualery will be present at this event as a collaborating company and will offer free coffee tastings on the premises
Qualery, a company specializing in the manufacture and marketing of specialty and soluble coffee for the vending, dispensing and community sectors, will once again participate in the International Professional Barista Championship, and this time, it will do so at the hands of barista Víctor Couto. The meeting, which will be held in the form of schools and professionals, will be held on February 13, 14 and 15 at the IES in Foz (Galicia).
The Spaniard, with extensive experience in the barista world, returns to the Championship 11 years after his first participation with the aim of demonstrating the importance of this event for future hospitality professionals. The coffee selected by the brand and with which Couto will work is a 100% Arabica specialty coffee according to the standards of the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) specifically selected and prepared by Qualery for the occasion.
“To participate again in the championship where I began my career in the world of coffee, and which at that time was a new competition, is a source of pride. But, above all, it is a motivation, not only because it is one of the championships with the most impact at the national level, but also because of having the possibility of participating again in my home, the town and the school that gave me everything since I was little. I return because it was something that I had pending with myself and with the people who always wanted to see me compete at home. I think it is the right time because of the support that a leading quality coffee company such as Qualery gives me and the people who are helping me to come back, "said Víctor Couto.
Qualery will be present at this event as a partner company and will offer free coffee tastings on the premises. This collaboration and the presence of the company in this type of event highlights not only the good reception and introduction that specialty coffee is beginning to have in the market, but also the rapid growth and recognition of this Spanish company, located in Val de Santo Domingo (Toledo). "With our coffees and soluble we want to contribute to the industrialization of the culture of flavor, promoting the well-being and health of people through an offer of products and services aimed at the sensory plenitude of consumers at any stage of their life", he highlights Saúl Álvarez, CEO of Qualery.
With its main activity in the vending sector, its success and the quality of its products have allowed it to close important operations throughout the past year and start 2019 with important growth forecasts.
