Inaugurated last Tuesday by the Councilor for Tourism, Rosana Rodríguez, the event will be held on March 14, 15 and 16 at the ‘El Greco’ Congress Center in Toledo
Qualery, a company specialized in manufacturing and marketing of specialty and soluble coffee for the vending, dispensing and community sectors, participates in the IV Spain Coffee Fest, a benchmark event in which the best baristas from all over Spain will compete to be the best nationwide in different modalities: Brewing, Latte Art and tasting. Inaugurated last Tuesday by the Councilor for Tourism, Rosana Rodríguez, the event will be held on March 14, 15 and 16 at the ‘El Greco’ Conference Center in Toledo.
Qualery will be present at the event as a sponsor and supplier of specialty coffee for the Latte Art category. “For Qualery it is a great pride that the VI Spain Coffee Festival is held this year in Toledo, at home. But, above all, it is a true motivation, an illusion, an exciting challenge. We want to conquer the city. And we want to promote the culture of specialty coffee, the culture of flavor, the culture of well-being and people's health through a range of products and services aimed at sensory fulfillment at any stage of their life. This event, which will also have a great impact on the tourist promotion of the city of Toledo, is the ideal showcase for all people from Toledo to start discovering this exciting world ”, highlights Saúl Álvarez, CEO of Qualery.
For his part, Jorge Jiménez, coordinator of the event, thanked Qualery for its commitment in participating in the festival: “This event is a unique opportunity to open up the world of specialty coffee to society. We wanted to create an open, didactic and participatory community and, finally, we see that it becomes possible. We are very grateful to Qualery for betting so decisively on the culture of good coffee and supporting us by transmitting all these values ”.
The participants, around 45, will compete for the top positions in the Spanish Championship in different modalities: Barista, who is the one who prepares the coffees with the espresso machine; Brewers, which are filtered coffees; Latte Art, those who make drawings with milk, and Tasting, in which they have to distinguish the different coffees that are put on the table.
In turn, in the same space, a fair on specialty coffees will be held with different exhibitors in which tastings and workshops will be given and to which all those interested in knowing more about the origins of this drink, its production process or what is the most suitable and perfect way to serve it.
